Felt Stockings

This last weekend I was busy doing these felt stockings. They are made out of ecospun felt this felt is made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic bottles... what a great idea! I decided to use different designs for them, not your traditional Christmas stockings.... though I think I will be making some that are very traditional here in the next few days. The apple one was made with my Mom in mind.... she loves apples. The flower one is very girly and anyone who loves pink and brown will like this one. I came up with the idea of the bird one after making the bird clips the other day... not sure what to think of it but I kinda like it. All of the apples, birds and flowers were hand stitched on.. and the apples and birds were hand cut. So quite a bit of work went into these. Let me know what you think.

So I finally gave in and decided that I would try Silk flower headbands. These ones turned out a bit larger than I wanted but I thought that they still turned out cute! The headbands are nylon and they stretch really good. I think I will post these on my etsy site... but I don't think I'll really do repeats at this point. So if you really like one of these I suggest that you get it now. I'll have more coming soon. I've just been really busy with orders and two kids. So be patient with me. If you have any suggestions please let me know!!!

(I know that in the picture the tulle looks a bit long and big... but it really is not that huge)

So I'm coming up with NEW nylon headbands. Here's a couple that I've done already. I'm not sure if I will sell them... but I guess if enough people like them maybe I'll post them on ETSY.

So here a new set that I just recently created. I really like the colors and I'm excited about this one! The Apple is entirely hand cut and hand stitched. The Flower is also hand stitched so ya I put quite a bit of work into these.

Halloween --- Pumpkin hair clip

So here's a look at my first Halloween hair clip that I made... this hair clip is hand cut and hand stitched. This is so perfect for fall and with Halloween coming up.... :) I could not decide on the color of the stitching so I went with both of them so I'm allowing you to decide which one you would like. Let me know what you think.
